Match Briefing

Everything competitors, staff, and spectators need to know before stepping onto the range.

Alabama Summer Warning ☀️

This match takes place in June in Alabama. Expect significant sun exposure, heat, humidity, and limited shade on portions of the range. Please hydrate before, during, and after the match. Complimentary bottled water will be available in every bay.

Match Scoring

Live score handling and arbitration procedures.

PractiScore Live Scoring Scores will be uploaded continuously throughout the match. No paper score postings will be used.
Review Scores Frequently Competitors are responsible for reviewing their scores and immediately reporting any discrepancies to shooter services.
Arbitration Period Arbitration begins when final scores are posted and lasts one hour unless reduced by majority competitor consent.

Range Safety

Cold range procedures and firearm handling rules.

Cold Range Firearms may only be handled in designated safety areas or under direct supervision of a Range Officer.
Safety Areas No ammunition may be handled inside safety areas. These areas are for bagging, holstering, dry fire, and firearm maintenance only.
Eye & Ear Protection Mandatory for all competitors and spectators while on range property.

PCC Rules

Specific handling requirements for PCC competitors.

Carry Condition PCCs must be carried vertically with chamber flags installed until instructed otherwise by an RO.
Casing Requirements To be considered cased, the firearm sleeve must extend from the muzzle past the trigger guard.
Muzzle Safety Unsafe muzzle direction during casing or uncasing may result in disqualification.

Match Operations

Keeping the match running smoothly.

Stage Resetting Competitors are expected to help paste, reset steel, and maintain efficient squad flow.
Inspection Period Four minutes begins after the WSB is read. Negotiate obstacles only during inspection or while scoring the previous shooter.
Alcohol & Drugs Strictly prohibited on range property during match operations.

Awards & Prize Table

Recognition and prize procedures.

Awards will follow USPSA Appendix A2 requirements and will recognize overall winners, Alabama State Champions, and class placements by division.

Random draw prizes will be distributed throughout the match day. Firearm winners are responsible for transfer fees and applicable FFL shipping.
